• Explain symptoms suggesting a possible dissociative disorder

• Describe when you would apply the Future Template

• Identify clinical situations where desensitization would be appropriate

• Recognize how EMDR therapy can address the impact of racial, religious, and ethnic prejudice and bias

• Explain cognitive interweave strategies for use in blocked processing

• Describe one important caution for using EMDR therapy with addictions

• Recognize the special considerations for EMDR therapy with combat veterans

• Identify differences in applying EMDR therapy to working with children

• Identify ways that mind-body connection is relevant in EMDR Therapy

• This training is intended for licensed or pre-licensed counselors and therapists who work directly with clients. Graduate students in a licensure track mental health-related degree program are also eligible if practicing under a licensed supervisor within the practicum or internship phase of their program. 

• No previous EMDR experience is necessary.

• Participants who need to cancel their reservations are entitled to a full refund, less a 3% processing fee, provided they cancel and request the refund at least seven days before the first training.

• Participants must be available for both training weekends as they cannot be rescheduled. 

• Participants who begin the EMDR training must complete the entire training within 12 months from their initial start date.

• 10 hours of consultation are required in order to complete the EMDR training. These hours are included in the registration fee. Half of the hours are completed between Parts 1&2, the final half are completed after Part 2.
